Remedial & Support Services
Customized Reading Intervention
Indiana Horizon Academy provides customized reading intervention for individual students or small groups in KG – 8th Grade. Reading instruction is determined by assessments of the student’s required skills and strategies, as well as their current instructional reading capacity.
Phonics and Phonemic Awareness
Explicit instruction in phonics and phonemic awareness for grades KG – 3rd Grade, fluency-building activities for individuals or small groups.
Summer Tutoring Sessions
Summer tutoring sessions are held for students who have taken the IREAD assessment but are at risk of failing the assessment in third grade
Summer tutoring sessions are held for students who have taken the IREAD assessment and have failed the assessment in third grade.
